FKM (fluorocarbon)
Fluoroelastomers are thermoset elastomers containing fluorine. Excellent general-purpose O-ring material with high resistance to heat, oils and chemicals.

Rubber has memory, it returns to its original shape after deformation, which makes it an excellent material for static and light dynamic sealing.
NBR (nitrile)
The most widely used elastomer for O-rings and seals. Also known as Buna-N, a copolymer of butadiene and acrylonitrile (ACN), with good resistance to oils and fuels.
HNBR (hydrogenated nitrile)
Obtained by hydrogenating standard nitrile, which improves resistance to heat, ozone and ageing.
EPDM (ethylene propylene)
Copolymer of ethylene and propylene (EPM), or terpolymer with a diene monomer (EPDM). Excellent resistance to water, steam and weathering.
